This deepādiving crankbait born purely out of necessity, the EXāDR targets the 3–4 m depth range—a zone that becomes critical at some point on almost every body of water throughout the year. Thanks to its stable water temperature and abundant bait, this depth is simply too important to overlook. And to efficiently cover this range, a fastāmoving lure is essential.
Conventional crankbaits that reach 4 m typically require long retrieve distances—meaning they must be large, heavy, and often equipped with a weightātransfer system to achieve the necessary casting distance. But on major lakes, crowded weekends, or when baitfish are small, such oversized deep cranks cannot handle every situation. This made it clear that a compact deep crankbait was truly needed.
The EXāDR was developed with two strict conditions: a compact body and no weightātransfer system. Removing weight transfer makes it far more difficult to balance casting distance and swimming performance, but the benefits are unmatched. Without internal weightāshifting rails, the lure has a lean, streamlined body that starts swimming instantly, increases bite rates during stopāandāgo retrieves, and maintains a subtle, fishātriggering action even at slow speeds. It also withstands highāspeed retrieves better, improving every aspect of its action.
Despite weighing only 12 g and having no weight transfer, the EXāDR still achieves the casting distance needed to reach 4 m—one of the biggest challenges of the design. Its slightly narrowed body width creates a shadālike silhouette, and the vertically flattened profile excels in tough conditions. Semiāflat sides generate both vibration and flashing, appealing to fish over a wide area while also providing natural triggers for bites.
To catch pressured bass, the EXāDR combines a shadālike liveliness and natural action with the ability to dive smoothly and quickly to 4 m. It is a deep crankbait that breaks all previous conventions.
