Ryugi MIURA DAMA is the cushion rubber to protect the knot and prevent the hook and sinker from becoming one. In rigs that use a free-rigging sinker, repeated contact of the sinker with the line and hook can cause the line to break due to a decrease in the strength of the knot. In addition to protecting the knot, MIURA DAMA prevents the hook and sinker from becoming one piece, making it easier for the sinker to separate from the hook. The softbait remains in the no-sinker state for a longer period of time, giving the maximum amount of time to get the softbait to bite.
The newly added Size 4 is ideal for free rigs and heavy Carolina rigs using 1/2 oz (14 g) or heavier sinkers. By enhancing the cushioning performance, it reduces the risk of the Miura Dama being crushed and biting into the eye of the hook when using heavy sinkers.
